In compliance with the Supreme Court guidelines laid down in Vishaka v, State of Rajasthan (1997) and the provisions of the Sexual Harrassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, the Principal of our college Dr Amrita Dutta has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee to investigate complaints about sexual harassment at the institution. It was imperative to set up the committee as a safeguard for the future.

The Internal Complaints Committee came into existence on 26th September 2014 with Dr Amrita Dutta as its chairperson and Dr Alefiya Tundawala as its convener. This committee will receive, record and enquire about complaints regarding sexual harassment in a time-bound manner. It aspires to conduct at least two seminars/workshops annually for awareness generation. The names of the committee members along with their contact details are displayed prominently on the notice board.
