Students must abide by the following rules and regulations of the college:

  • Students are expected to be punctual and regular in attendance.
  • Students must attend all their classes and must not leave the campus before all their classes are over without the permission of the Principal.
  • The students should make it a habit to see the Notice Board on arriving at and while leaving the college. No excuse will be considered if the notices hung on the board are ignored.
  • Absence of students from college for more than three days must be explained in writing to the Principal by the parents concerned.
  • The names of the students who remain absent from the college for more than a month without taking prior permission would be struck off from the register.
  • Students must attend at least 75% of the lectures delivered in order to be eligible for appearing in the university examinations.
  • Attendance at the college examinations is compulsory for all students. Sending up of students for university examinations is determined on the basis of marks secured in the different examinations. Medical certificate is no substitute for examination marks.
  • Students must participate in and organise sports and games, cultural activities, competitions and bring out their magazine under the guidance of their teacher.
  • Students must attend and take part in extra-curricular activities as arranged by the college from time to time.
  • Attendance at all functions of the college whether on working days or on holidays is compulsory and absence from the same without valid reason will be marked.
  • Damage to any college property must be made good in cash or by replacement by the student concerned.
  • Gross misconduct or breach of college discipline, copying from other students during examinations, impersonation during roll calls will be severely dealt with. A student will not be promoted or sent up if she is found using unfair means in the examination hall.
  • Students not paying their tuition fees for six months will be treated as defaulters and they will have to get themselves re-admitted on payment of usual admission fees.
  • Cell phones/mobiles are not to be used by students inside the college premises.
